What is turbidity?

Turbidity is an optical characteristic of liquids, solutions, or transparent solid samples, which in general describes the clarity or haziness of the sample. Turbidity is an important parameter in the determination of liquid quality.

Why MultiTurbTech?

MultiTurbTech is a multi-sensor analyzer equipped with different features to overcome some limitations of commercial turbidity meter sensors. Turbidity sensor is an optical sensor which measures the turbidity of a liquid using light scattering phenomenon. A coherence laser light illuminates the sample and scattered light is gathered using a detector at the angle of 90 degrees. The intensity of scattered light corresponds to the turbidity of samples. More scattered light means more suspended solid particles.
